Lake Baikal

According to some sources (including for example worldatlas.com), the Caspian Sea is the largest lake in Asia.

Baikal is Asia's largest freshwater lake, and it's also the largest in the world that's entirely within one country (although only slightly larger than Canada's Great Bear Lake).
